RECORDING VOICE AT CONFERENCES
March 09, 2008 06:08 PM PDT
MUSIC: Widespread Panic, out of their 2008 album EMAIL: mojoe763@yahoo.com ***************************************************************** MY GENTLE ADVICE: - find quiet corners in the first minutes at a conference.
- record a 15-30 seconds of ambiental noise in the lobby at - record the interviews in quiet corners or unused meeting rooms
- when editing, you will have a separate track for ambience - if no interview is necessary, record your voiceover at the hotel
- you can use a car as a soundproof space for recording. Just GOOD LUCK! ***************************************************************** CREDITS and NAME DROPPING:
This episode uses the following sound files from Freesound (http://freesound.iua.upf.edu):

Podcast SummaryFrom Toronto, Canada,
About GeorgeContact email: mojoe763 [at] yahoo [dot] com I started this podcast to play non-FM music that I discover every day. If you like the artists that I play in my podcast, please support them: buy their music, go to their concerts. Thank you. ************************ I am an ex-FM radio jock from Transylvania that moved to Canada in year 2000.
I played lots of jazz, classic rock and blues in my FM years, but I also DJ-ed in clubs and at parties. ************************ Frustrated with the FM due to its commercials taking over DJ content and music, I am looking into podcasting and Internet Radio as a way to save radio. ************************
